Action/media email list policy

The Action (action@sfgreens.org) list is a subset of our newsletter
(announce@sfgreens.org) subscribers who wanted to be subjected to more
frequent email with action items (such as requests to attend hearings
or write letters).  We're still aiming for an average of about 1
message per week.  An example of the sort of thing we'd send to this
list would be a request to attend public meetings such as
Redevelopment hearings or a school board meeting, or to write a letter
to the editor.

Our policy is that any active Green can send a draft announcement to
the "media@sfgreens.org" list, then people on the list reply to all
with their edits or simply say "approve."  If 3 people approve the
final language in an announcement, the SFGP spokesperson or a
designated alternate will send it out to the full list
(action@sfgreens.org).  The Media list contains (by default) all
members of the CC and Media working groups, as well as liasons to our
elected officials.  If else is interested in editing/approving
messages, either the CC or GM can add them to this committee.
